I just started Maddex on rice cereal (1/6/09)... I decided to wait until he was about 6 1/2 months.. mainly because he was satisfied enough with just breastmilk... and I loved feeding him. BUT my Dr. says I must start. Maddex isn't a big fan of the rice cereal, and I often have to force it through his tiny clenched gums. This is a pic of his first day eating... and it has only gotten messier.

so i know you don't know me at all, but tanner does and seriously i was so there with all three of my kids not liking the rice ceral! they finally came around to it when i used breastmilk (or formula for my oldest) instead of water. also they have these infant feeders that are fabulous! they are the best thing since sliced bread as far as keeping it clean with the first foods. here is a link of some so you know what they look like if you are interested http://www.shopping.com/xPO-Infant-Baby-Solid-Food-Cereal-Feeder-Bottle-Infa-Feeder i know nuby makes them too. :)
