Well we just got back from our trip to San Diego... we were sad to leave but I think no matter where you go- it is always nice to get back home. Maddex did great- he is the most relaxed baby- and just goes with the flow no matter where we are. We took him to the beach a few days and he seemed to enjoy it... he mostly just slept in his little tent. The weather was really nice- kinda warm but no too bad. Other than just being at the beach- which was wonderful- We did a lot of other fun stuff while we were there... We went to Mission Bay one day and shopped around, went out to eat a bunch at some really great resturants-including- The Chart House (Thanks again Brad!), took LOTS of walks in the stroller (aka: dream on wheels) to ColdStone and CPK, went to church with the whole entire family, played Scattergories with the fam. and my personal fav- shopped at consignment stores (which I found some really great things at :) One of the things Tanner had been wanting to do the most was go to a movie.. so- the boys all got up one morning and went to see Dark Night... I thought it was kinda weird to see it in the morning but it didnt matter because they absolutely loved it. I was kinda disappointed I wasnt able to get as tan as I wanted because I mostly sat under the umbrella with the baby- so the tannest part on me right now is my feet :) We took over 400 pictures on our trip- like 390 of just Maddex- haha.- no really. We also took some family pictures there and I am so excited to see how they turned out. Well- if you are anything like me- after vacation you tend to get a little bummed-because now what you have looked forward to the whole entire summer- is over. but Im not entirely depressed :) because my mom, grandma, sister, nephew, and dad are all flying out for Maddex's Blessing in September- I cant wait! Yeah, you finally have a new post!! Now I need to do mine. I'm pretty sick of looking at mine everytime I want to go on and look at others! One of my little Primary girls who is 10 even came up to me at church today and said, "you need to change your blog!" I love all of the pictures! See you soon....
A--i love all the pics, you guys are such an adorable little family; isn't being a mom the best!!! you look great too by the way... makes me feel fat just looking at you. which reminds me, send me all your beach cover-ups ASAP. i'll be needing them, trust me. love ya
