We had a great Christmas... I am going to try and make this short-considering it is late and I am exhausted. We did lots of fun things to get ready for Christmas- my favorites were going to see Santa- we hunted all over for a good "free" place to go- (sorry, I cant bring myself to pay $14.99 for a 4x6 of Maddex losing his mind on Santa's lap) and we ended up at Bass Pro Shop. As I handed him over to Santa- I whispered, "prepare yourself, this is going to be bad".. he looked at me like, oh gosh. I was in complete shock when Maddex just sat there. Maybe it was because he couldn't see his face- who knows. We also had a great time making gingerbread houses with Justin & Michelle... Tanner told me I couldn't build a 2 story house- so I had to. Tanner added his addition- a basketball court- oh, and me laying out on the roof top (just incase you couldn't tell, but Im sure you could ;) We didn't even make it past the first speed bump- my house was history. We spent Christmas Eve with Tanners family at his Grandparents house- it was a lot of fun. We acted out the Nativity- Maddex was baby Jesus. Christmas morning was awesome! Tanner, Maddex and I spent our very first Christmas all together at our own home... it was special. It was my first Christmas away from my family- and Tanner knew I would be a little sad so before I woke up he got up and got everything ready... I loved it. Maddex was still a little young to understand the whole gifts thing, but he sure did love the paper! After we opened all of our gifts- we headed to Brad & Kathys- and got there just before they got up. Once we got there- we opened gifts and then played with them all day. We had such a great day- We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family that loves and cares for us. Thank You for Everything!
