move it- or lose it.

The weekend before Thankgiving we put up our tree. I was so excited- I could barely contain myself- We had such a fun evening! We got out all of our Christmas decorations- turned on the Christmas music and went to town. We had snowman pancakes- which were so adorable- I didn't even want to eat them. Maddex was in aww... I think he really liked the lights on the tree. :) A couple of days later Tanner hung our Christmas lights... it was so fun- well, for me it was- I wasn't the one on the roof in the freezing cold. 

Maddex got Croup- (a bad inflamation of the throat, a hoarse cough) and was sick for about 4 days. He got over it pretty fast after he was started on some medication- and the help of a blessing. I hated that he was sick, but loved how he cuddled with me. As Maddex was getting over his cold- Tanner was starting to feel pretty bad- he put up with his symptoms for about 3 weeks until he went to the dr. to find out he had "walking phemonia". So- not only am I a mom, wife, cook, maid, but now I am a nurse... I'm not complaining though- because I LOVE to take care of my boys!

Our TV was out of commission for about 2 weeks... and I have loved every second of it! I think deep down inside Tanner has too. Although he did hint to me that he was sick of hearing my same ol' Christmas CD.. :) It was great timing though- b/c we actually had a lot to do to get ready for the Holidays anyway. - We took many, many trips to Babies-R-Us (I could spent hours in there...) to find Maddex the perfect Christmas gifts.. I didn't want to buy anything unless I knew he loved it- so what better way than to have him test drive it?
