So- I have totally been wanting to have a Yard Sale... Tanner and I had one last year and made bank. I didnt get around to it before Maddex was born so Michelle and I decided we would have one in September. We spent about a week getting things ready- and then it was showtime... We put up all our beautifully decorated neon signs... and at about 7 am on Saturday morning- the people started to pour in. Michelle did most of the money counting- believe me, it's best- and I basically just enjoyed being the YS Natzi. I had been looking forward to this for a long time... even though it was a lot of work... $1,040.00 later... it was well worth it. When we were done Tanner got out the camera and told me that he took some pics of us at the YS. haha. I laughed soo hard! We all had so much fun and decided to reward ourselves with some Sushi...
Okay so short story: On Friday morning- Michelle and I were in the garage getting our YS stuff ready- when we noticed that a helicopter kept circling over our house... seriously like... OUR HOUSE. After about the 5th time- we started getting worried and shut the garage. We went upstairs and watched the helicopter fly around the house... I could practically see the guy in it. Michelle called 311 to see what was going on... they said they were checking out a suspicious person in the area!! WHAT???... We just sat in the living room and after about 20 min. of everything they were gone. I am totally convinced that they were after US!!~ I know it... they probably thought our garage was full of stolen stuff... Im not even kidding. Or maybe I just like to tell myself that so I don't FreAK OuT.Tuesday, September 9, 2008

OMG, i can't believe all the people buying stuff...it's like a stinkin sale at Kohls or something! well, it looks like I'm gonna have to pass the "YS" crown on to you for this year...mine only grossed $650.00 this year:) you're still country baby. love ya.
I need your outlook on yard sales, because I hate having them. There's always like 5 people who show up hours early (like 6:00 AM), buy all of the items that are probably way too underpriced (like old toy trucks), and then ask for a discount on $2 items that probably fetch $30+ on ebay! Yuck!
Sorry for that. I'm actually a pretty cheerful guy, but yard sales bring out the worst in me ha ha. Anyway, you have a great looking family and I wish you all the best. (I think I just had to rant about yard sales ha ha)
Andrea! I cant believe you guys banked all that money after the yard sale! I think you should take it...and head on over to Nordstrom! I love the picture of Maddex (below) with his little hand raised and your "Hello Momma" caption underneath! haha - so cute!!
Hi Peterson family,
I love your blog... now I know who Tanner is and it isn't just a name. It's been fun talking to Kathy again. I thought you might like to see this site. I good response from my blog with Grandpa and Grandma Heap, so I created a site. I inherited all the genealogy from my mother of Grandma an mom (Aunt Peggy)... I can't remember if I told Kathy I have stories too. I'll get them to everyone that wants them.
